So much going on these days...
school, laundry, chores, planning, a wedding, a birthday, grocery shopping
and in the midst of it all....counting.
Counting the blessings...has opened new eyes.
After reading One Thousand Gifts my perspective is changing daily.
Love her comment that "Life is not an emergency"....it really isn't!
So easy to get caught up in the frenzy of making it from Sun-up to Sun-down without ever slowing down enough to see His many blessings each day.
Trying to be intentional about "slowing down".
Playing putt-putt on a school night...no special occasion...just because!
Riding four wheelers with friends on a warm, sunny day.
...and finding some good mud!
Shoes drying in the sunshine
Riding go-carts on a chilly, clear evening
Walking into the kitchen early in the morning and finding a
"breakfast request" left on the counter...
Dissecting "things" for biology....
Working on a craft
Wishing he didn't have to practice guitar :-)
Can you tell how happy he is??
Getting ready for a wedding reception at our house.
John was painting and Sarah was...supervising!
Our dad is amazing....he can pull off anything!
What a fantastic wedding celebration it will be.
So thankful that Spring has decided to come early around here!
I just love it when the flowers start to wake up.
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
To Him be the Glory.
