Bring on summertime

For some reason, the end of the school year seems
even busier than the beginning!
Finishing up classes, parties, moving college kids...

Jake even threw in a few post-season basketball tournaments

Belle is continuing to grow like a weed!

I remember, not too long ago, when Jake didn't have much
fun playing basketball with the "big kids".  But after this
recent growth spurt...the competition is a lot more fun!

Such a treat that these roses always bloom the week between my
birthday and Mother's day!

This spring has been a rainy one...days when we never thought it would stop.
But the rain has certainly done wonders for making things grow!

Beautiful "free" eggs!

while in college, Kathryn was involved coaching a 5th grade girls
volleyball team at the Y in her college town.
This year she got Anna involved too.

It's so wonderful to see my girls investing in the lives of
other young girls.  And don't you just know those 10 year old girls
LOVE having college girls come and coach them?

(the auto-focus on this lens is broken...and apparently the "auto-focus" in my eyes is a little off too!)

It seems like summer has definitely arrived. The heat and humidity of the south
are here once again.
